Satellites extend this reach, providing connectivity to remote areas not served by terrestrial cables. Routers act as traffic managers, directing data packets along the most efficient paths to their destinations. Finally, servers store and distribute the vast amounts of information we access online – from websites and emails to videos and applications. This complex interplay of technology allows for the seamless global communication and data exchange that defines the internet.

The World Wide Web (WWW), or simply "the web," is a system built on top of the internet.
